Annual General Meetings and Annual Reports
Tayport Football Club was first constituted in 1947 as Tayport Amateur FC and was the latest in a long line of football clubs in the community since the game was first played in the town in the late 1800s. In 1990 the club provided the club with Junior Football status for the first time in many years and the club simply became Tayport FC.
No club records survive from the period 1947 to 1967 with the exception of a very few photographs. Since then, however, there are minutes of annual meetings and secretary and treasurers’ annual reports which provide an insight into the growth of the club over the past 50 years.
